The Christmas Tree
Have you ever wondered why we have a Christmas tree, how it originated, and whether or not there is a deeper meaning to the tree than just lights tinsel, and decorations?
The original term for the Christmas tree was the German word "Christ Baum." It means "Christ's tree." We are told in the Bible that the cross was also Christ's tree.

That cross was the first true Christmas tree. It was planned, planted, purchased and placed on this planet for the glory of God and the salvation of the human race. In this message I take three thoughts from 1 Peter 2:24
 that might change the way you view the Christmas tree in your home. It might just make you more grateful for the ultimate gift that was given to us all those years ago.
